  • How to register?

In order to do that, just click on “Continue with Facebook/Continue with Google” in the same box.

  • Any charge for placing the information?

    No. We do not take any commissions and there are no hidden fees or payments on our website. You can place information about your property on Gayweekends totally free of charge. Besides, users of our website can add upcoming events, i.e. announcements of the forthcoming parties, gatherings and organized trips or tours and that would be absolutely for free. Registration on Gayweekends is also completely free of charge.

  • How to add an object/event?

    First of all, you have to be a registered user to place any information on our website. If the registration is already done, you’ve got your Personal Account section on our website. With this Private Account, you can easily add objects and events on Gayweekends. All you have to do is to click on button “Add Event or Object” in the upper right corner of the page, insert the necessary information and post it. And there you go, easy as pie.

  • How edit/update the information?

    If you are a registered user and you represent one of the objects posted on Gayweekends (information is posted by GayWeekends), you can achieve a right to make changes to already existing descriptive text, add/delete photos, videos and update the information about your property on our website. If you are truly interested, just send us an e-mail on gayweekends.info@gmail.com, requesting an access to editing. In this e-mail, you should indicate your User Name, your E-mail Address, and include the name of the venue you want to be editing and its location. You’ll be notified once you get access to editing.

    In summary, to be eligible to edit/update the information about your property on our website, all you need is:

    1. To register
    2. To send a request for editing rights
    3. Receive our confirmation of granting you the access to editing

    In case you posted your object by yourself, you can make changes and update the information using your Personal Account, and after pending updated information about your object/event will be visible on the site.

  • What do special signs of objects mean?

       “Gay-only” – venues, are established and work exclusively for the gay audience.

      “Gay-tolerant” – venues, which share tolerant attitudes towards LGBT community and keep their doors open to gay guests.

        “Not gay-friendly” sign – means that stuff at the venue prefers to keep representatives of LGBT community at arm’s length and are not very pleased to see them at their places.

  • What filter options available for LGBT?

    Objects on our website have been classified into groups, according to their intended purposes. They are divided into four tabs: Hotels, Cafes and Bars, Hostels and Nightclubs. Furthermore, in the upper part of the website page you can see a Search line, where it is possible to insert appropriate city, country or even the name of the venue you would like to find. This Search line contains two more adjustable characteristic by which you can filter objects on Gayweekends. First one is “Gay amity level” and the second is “Attitudes towards gay community“. By choosing a category “Gay-only“, you will be presented with those venues, which are established and work exclusively for the gay audience. If you choose the category “Gay-tolerant”, you will see venues, which share tolerant attitudes towards LGBT community and keep their doors open to gay guests and visitors. The last category is “Not gay-friendly“. It means that owners, managers and stuff at the venue prefers to keep representatives of LGBT community at arm’s length and are not very pleased to see them at their places.

  • Do you provide booking services?

    We provide booking through Booking service. In case you would like to book a hotel your can choose dates and place you want to stay in appropriate fields. On our site you will find an extensive database of gay-tolerant places and venues worldwide. Our aim – is to provide information for LGBT travelers in order for them to feel welcomed at their destinations, to be able to spend money on quality services, to know about the best places and venues all around the world and to be aware of some of the most vibrant gay parties and most interesting events that take place in the world.

  • Can I buy here tickets for events?

    No. We don’t sell tickets, passes, discounted packages for events or anything like that. We provide you with the information of when and where a certain event will take place. If you are interested and want to attend, just contact the hosting venue or organizers of the event and enquire about the tickets. Events tab comes in handy for those, who are planning a trip to a new country or a new town and want to diversify their leisure activities.

  • How to leave a review?

    If you have any feedback about your stay at the hotel or hostel, about visiting a club, a restaurant or a bar, you can leave a comment on the page of the object. However, commenting is available only for registered users. In case you have a feedback about the work of our website, please get in touch at gayweekends.info@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy, we will do our best to resolve the issue. We love the odd compliment too!
