Immediately start with the area in which the hostel is located. Unlike other travelers, I did not notice anything particularly terrible in Tenderloyne. Yes, a couple of homeless people, yes, a couple of times asked for a trifle. That's all. Went early in the morning, afternoon, evening, after being ordered. I had no problems. As the girl said at the reception, if you do not swing your iPod for everyone in sight, then no one will rob you. Also read…

I was in San Francisco just once. This trip was the previous year and as usual I decided ot stay at a hostel. This time I decided not to book a room in advance and just came to the first hostel which was on my way. It turned out to be the City Center Hostel and now I can definitely sat that I was lucky with this accidental choice and I didn’t regret at all. The location of the hostel…

An ordinary hostel in the city center. Breakfast: cereal, bun with butter or cream cheese, tea, coffee, concentrated drink. It is possible before 10 am to order scrambled eggs (4 eggs), or scrambled eggs for 2 eggs + 1 pancake. It goes like a 1USD service. In the room there are two bunk beds, each has a small metal box for things (you can lock it). Each is given only one large towel, which, fortunately, is changed every day. Apparently…

Good location, only in several blocks from the center. Though homeless people spoil the whole opinion. There are especially a lot of them here because there is a psychiatric hospital nearby... Sometimes I was afraid to walk in the evening. In a whole - this is not a bad place, pretty clean and they are making tasty breakfast. There is a metro station and bus stops nearby. Hostel was created in an old and beautiful building, there is a very…

Not a bad hostel, practically in the center of the city. It is possible to leave your car on the street for night for free, though be attentive as for the cleaning work on the roads and the signs. They start cleaning it from 4 till 6 in the morning, and I did not notice the sign under the trees, so had to pay after... I would recommend you not to risk and to leave your car on the parking…

Very Good
Despite the fact, that there are a lot of homeless people, as a lot of visitors have already mentioned, for me, this place became a quiet and safe corner. A bit dirty region, though not so far from the center. No laundry, though it is located not far from it. No places with a good kitchen nearby, only some cheap street snack bars, where the food is so hard, that after one sandwich you would have a pain in your…
